What to Expect Before You're Expecting: The Complete Guide to Getting Pregnant by Heidi Murkoff

This book isn't anything special. It reminded me of those mediocre magazines that aren't hardly worth your money. I didn't care much for the way out was written and I didn't learn much either. It's mostly a bunch of common sense combined with other things you can quickly learn from a few Internet searches. I'm not sure what I expected, but this book missed the mark. On the upside, I got it at a "$5 for a whole bag" book sale at the local library, so I'm not really out any money.

It's too repetitive and a lot of this information was not new to me at all, didn't add much value to my life.

Waste of time and money. Don’t read any of the what to expect books. There are so many other great and better sources out there.

Loved reading this! Really informative and let me know how to prepare for this hopeful upcoming life change. My husband especially appreciated the dad information and how easy it was to find.

I know this book has gotten a lot of slack/hate for it's repetitive nature, I found it very helpful!!!
I like to derive research from many sources and this one had a lot of information. Great diet tips, conception tips, first steps to conceiving and more. As well as how to recover from a lost pregnancy, fertility workups, charts, and alternative methods.
