I think I'm going to give this 2.5/5. This book basically felt like an episode of CSI New York that didn't make the cut. I don't know if it's the constant use of short sentences that weirdly pestered me or the writer's attempts to make this story very thrilling and suspenseful by trying to make the villain as mysterious and terrifying as The Zodiac or even more. Sometimes, I felt she was trying really hard but failing eventually. Maybe if all the "suspense" was sealed by an epic twist of event, It would've made more sense. But that was not the case. I was disappointed by the ending and the writer's attempt to create a new flame yet again.

Fantastic thriller, there was just something about some characters that made it hard to connect. Still would recommend it to everyone who loves detective thrillers/dark thrillers.
