"And then I feel certain that something is wrong with me for not being able to do said normal, easy things with such ease."

I don't think I have ever related to a character more, than I do with Taylor! I loved this book to pieces! It was so cute! And funny! And so relatable! Definitely one of my new all time favourites!

Nerdy and cheesy while being super fast paced and cute. A great pick-me-up book.

I LOVE THIS BOOK! 🏳️‍🌈In a time of gay panic just what I needed was Gay™️ love and Nerd Conventions. It's full of diverse characters without feeling like they've been shoved in their just because. It's got a brilliant amount of nerdiness and creates its own movies and lore so it doesn't feel dated, as some nerd books can. I honestly cannot spread this books praises enough.

This was not the right time for me to read this book, while still dealing with the emotional rollercoaster of a break up. The happy parts felt too cheesy to me. To be honest though I did not enjoy this book that much regardless. The characters are very stereotypical and shallow, the dialogue is very cheesy and cringy (especially between Taylor and Jamie), and the plot is very predictable and cheesy as well. I skimmed through some parts. Giving it 2 stars because there were a couple of nice quotes. I think if the book was longer, for example starting before the convention, there could have been more depth and attachment to the characters.

More of a 4.5. I needed something light and cute after KoA and this was the perfect fit. I never really read a wlw romance, even though I am bisexual myself. I really found myself in Charlie and Taylor at the same time. I actually didn’t like Taylor that much, Jamie was the best part about her chapters for me. I adore Jamie, I don’t know if I want to date Jamie or Charlie more. Overall highly recommend
