LOVED this one! I laughed so hard so many times. I enjoyed this even more than the first Bergman brothers book. This was a hilarious and touching slow burn romance that I know I will be reading again. Ren is an adorable cinnamon roll hero, and Frankie is hilarious and so relatable. They both are! Loved all the Shakespeare (especially the team's Midsummer Night's Dream ritual), joking pet names, witty one-liners, and generally the whole experience.

Excellent neurodiversity, chronic pain and rheumatoid arthritis rep.  Frankie’s character is wonderfully complex and Ren is now in my top 5 for book boyfriends (he’s definitely the most adorable and optimistic). Who knew a pacifist could be a professional NHL star?

This book has the opportunity for really great representation of Disabled and neurodivergent folks. I think it  was mostly great, but
I would’ve loved if Frankie didn’t believe she was hard to love or a burden. This is commonly included when characters are Disabled and while it’s very honest and does reflect the experience of some Disabled folks, I hate that it’s often the only lens Disabled characters are portrayed through.

Chloe Liese's writing scratches that good part of my brain.

I fucking loved it

It was a slowburn I was kinda reluctant to read a slowburn again because tsld really hurt me but I really really liked the slowburn in this, the dual POV, the longing, it was just perfect ngl.

Ren Bergman God I love him.
He is such a sweetheart with his van, and his shakespear club, but I feel like he was made to be loved,
how he used to be bullied and how his whole family plays soccer and he plays hockey. He literally didn't have any flaws. (idk if that contemporary...) 😐

Loved the Playlist

loved Frankie and her whole story it just made me love her so much.
She has always had a hard time, and now she can finally love herself and see the good in her relationship.

OMG I LOVED LO. I FUCKING LOVE HER😭

Also really want to read about Axel.

idk if I'm gonna read the first book but I'm definitely gonna read the third one cause it seems like a fun book. And the fourth one.

But sometimes I kinda lost it, it was a bit weirdly formulated sometimes so I had to double check but idk maybe that's just me.

The ending sucked btw,
she came to see Ren in the rain and they eventually forgave each other after Frankie treated him like shit and he still forgave her so easily.
