Ruskin Bond mostly writes about mountains and hills, which are my favourite landforms. This book is about a family living on an island in the middle of a RIVER! Sita lives with her grand parents in a hut. Her grandmother gets ill and her grandfather takes her to the hospital on the mainland. Sita is alone in the house and there is a flood.
It's a great book and you should surely read it. It was a pleasure to read it and l really enjoyed reading this novella.
