Didn’t realize it was a novella; perhaps that’s why it was such a simple quick storyline. Didn’t enjoy the lack of development. Too bad. I really liked her novels.

I think this will be my last Hazelwood for a while.. I did enjoy some of her novels for some light reading but these novellas are just a condensed version of everything annoying with her books..
- the super tiny main character that basically fits into the hand of the gigantic love interest
- the love interest always being head over heels for her from the start but it takes her the entire book to realize that all his very obvious clues are genuine
- all the women being super smart scientist but soo dumb in their realationship to the love interest
-no one really talks to each other like ever
- the main character always being either super inexperienced or never having truly experienced good s*x until they get with the main guy (kind of perpetuating an obsession with virginity/so inexperienced it can count as virginity)
- the women being super shocked that the guy could actually enjoy going down on them and "not getting anything in return" like wtf is going on?
this all feels so backwards for a romance series thats supposed to show women in stem, being feminist etc.
