I’m totally reading these novellas out of order. I started with [b:Below Zero|59651553|Below Zero (The STEMinist Novellas, #3)|Ali Hazelwood|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1637311357l/59651553._SY75_.jpg|93935903] which gave me high hopes for this story because the sparks were flying for Hannah & Ian, but I wasn’t as invested as I thought I’d be. Maybe it’s the roommate-forced proximity trope that turns me off, but I did not pick up on the chemistry between Mara & Liam in the slightest. This book was quick, easy to digest, and overall fine, however, I did not find myself cheesin’ like I thought I would.

Let me preface this by saying I LOVE Ali Hazelwood books and absolutely adore her. I truly just wish this book was the same length as TLH or LONTB. It dragged on for a while and then the ending was completely rushed. There was never really a setting in the book outside of the house and I just feel like there could’ve been so much more added to the story. Not to mention the awkward chapter that everyone else has mentioned in reviews, it was kinda cringey. I just wish more was put into this story
