The first novella in the «Loathe to Love You» trilogy by Ali Hazelwood was one I was skeptical to read as I’ve never been one to read short books. I love Hazelwood’s writing though. Getting to know Mara, and seeing her engagement for the environment and nature sort of gives hope to humanity again, and let’s not forget the hunk of a man that Hazelwood always adds into her books. Grumpy. But boy … at the end, well, that had me blushing. It is fast-paced, yet with all of Hazelwood’s usual content. A short, sweet read if you just need to escape reality for a short while.

A nice short story about love. Very cliche and foreshadowing, but nicely written and very romantic. Nice short book for days you don’t want a big plot. I really liked Liam (even though I didn’t like the 50 references on how tall and big and strong he is) but he did have good character.

This was just cute :) A light read, not all that serious, two characters who make each other genuinely better, and both very likable! Overall a quick lovely read !
