I wasn't particularly wild about this book, but it seems great and interesting for my toddler who is exploring all the ideas in the book such as up and down, day and night, above and below, and colors and numbers. It's longer than some of the board books he reads, which can be good too.

Tonight Landon read/recited this through with just a few helps. Yay! He's really starting to blossom as a reader.

One of the first books my children read independently.
It is ridiculous how much Ruthie enjoys this book. She laughs out loud while we read it every time! She loves the pictures and the sing-song nature of the text as I read. I was not a dog person growing up, so I'd never read this one--I'm so glad we received it at my baby shower and that Ruthie enjoys it so much.

An adorable story about dogs going to a party. And the art is cute too!
