so this is one of my favourite classic books bc of how deeply attached i am to the characters. there are issues to be had (namely van helsings deeply irritating manner of having like 800 word monologues with no paragraph breaks for what could be said in one sentence) but i personally still had a lot of fun
i think what stuck out to me on this read through is mina's plotline - her struggles are so interesting and sad and i adore her so much she deserves all the love and the men in this story (and arguably the author LOL) dont appreciate her enough

I listened to this on audio for spooky season and overall really enjoyed it! The first half or so I was really into it and would rate it higher, but then in the second half it got so bogged down with details and repetition that I started getting bored of it. Still a good read/listen and a classic for a reason!
