It was slow for me to start this book but once I got going, I didn’t want to put it down. Amazing story. Heartbreaking at times. Definitely cried during parts of it. I had to set it down after a certain chapter because I was so overwhelmed with relief. It is nice to read a book from World War II that does not take place inside the camps.
