You could guess a couple of plot lines otherwise it was good

I actually quite liked this book. I'm not big into science fiction by any means, but I liked learning about the characters and I usually enjoy books that are set in the future. I wasn't loving it near the end, but the ending itself resolved really well and I was happy.

bc the authors mormon and im exmormon i know people who went to his class. turns out hes a prick. the book is ok tho

This book is pretty famous and is one of those 'what-a-twist' stories so for summary I will simply say that this is moralistic/ethical science fiction novel that has obviously had huge influence on a number of sci-fi archetypes relating to interstellar travel, aliens, computers, and many other aspects of the genre.

The story is great, though the influences it has had on popular art makes it seem a little too familiar, the movie (not the book) Starship Troopers owes royalties to Card for how much they poached. I enjoyed the book enough that I decided to read the entire cycle since Theresa had them all on hand.

interesting book. unique idea. reader quickly brought in, you understand the plot quickly and the setting. you understand the stakes and why Ender is doing what he is doing.

I found the ending a little predictable, but good none the less.
