The concept of this book is so fun and slutty but the execution gave me the ick at times. How are you going to write a book about a pornstar convention and then have the main character lowkey (but basically highkey) hate sex workers subconsciously? It felt very wrong to me and therefore pick me energy. All of the other characters were fine but Kat. She has a gay best friend and also partook in sex with her bi best friend and yet somehow kinda homophobic comments too??? I'm still so lost on this...

In typical MZ fashion it is a slow burn friends to lovers which I liked but had a huge problem with the fmc so overall ruined :/

Only marking this as read so I can give 1 star and say I DNF'd. I put up with so much misogyny and slut-shaming from the FMC that I deserve this to count towards my yearly reading goal.

This was such a close 5 stars, if only it didn’t start dragging a little too much after 70% of the book.

The anticipation of them getting together had me on my toes, I absolutely loved seeing their friendship develop first.

This was an almost perfect friends to lovers book.

I don’t know why I thought I wasn’t gonna enjoy this, probably because of the way it started, the style of writing surprised me a little but I am so glad I continued.

Can’t wait to continue my journey on reading Mariana Zapata books.
