I think anything Janice Hallet writes, I will eat up. Multiple POVs, interesting format; In this case that being emails, WhatsApp messages, essays and messages on a forum, I LOVE it.

As for the mystery in this one, it really really kept me onbthe tips of my toes, it took so many twists an turns and surprised me constantly. Hallet is a master in doing so. She stays true to these interesting formats, but no book is ever the same and it WORKS. 

Of course, as is gonna be the case when we're talking about murder mysteries, some characters will irritate and annoy the reader, because obviously they're not good people. But in the end, you realise why they were there and why they were written the way they were. 

I have two more Hallet books in my TBR and finishing this made me all the more excited to dig into those.

I was so looking forward to a good mystery but the format of using texts, emails, and memos to relay a story is not for me. I gave it 50 pages and it goes back to the library.
