This was an intriguing mermaid short story with some shifter inclusions that made for a nice twist to the usual mermaid storylines. It was a bit confusing at moments because of previous storylines that I hadn’t read, and because of all the secondary characters that I couldn’t keep up with. That being said, it had a nice pace of action and mystery, plus a good dose of spice and romance. There was a bit of mystery that wasn’t wrapped up, but it didn’t really take away from the storyline. Overall it was a very entertaining way to spend an hour, especially if you love mermaids.

This story was sweet, romantic, a bit steamy and with a lot of interesting facts and tales and made me a bit sad as well.
