Fun, great art. I wish more time had been spent developing Cho before his time as the Hulk but it is possible there's a volume I'm unaware of

A Hulk that's weird AND fun. And just plain odd. Not sure whether I believe this is going to stay in the continuity. Or if I want it to. But Cho as Hulk is just so much lighter. And the story of a young smart Hulk is just different. This book just works. The sequel is probably going to need to be a little deeper though.

This was pretty good. It's lighthearted and funny with good action. One of the most interesting parts about this arc for me was actually the slowly-revealed story of how the torch was passed from Bruce to Amadeus. I was particularly amused by the fact that the (new "totally awesome") Hulk's ("Chulkie") sister's support/tech vehicle is also an Asian fusion food truck, and that Amadeus's fitness tracker bracer shows the weather in Cupertino. I didn't love this, but more so because it's not my personal cup of tea. It's more of a stereotypical fun younger kid comic.

Good for fans of Bendis's Amazing Spider-Man.

Story is probably a 3, but as a huge Frank Cho mark, art is a 5. Fun volume.

Fun, filled with humor, and centered around a great brother-sister relationship.

There's a new Hulk in town and he's "totally awesome" and totally has his newfound powers in control... right? 19-year-old Amadeus Cho, eighth smartest person on the planet (according to the Pym-Von Doom raw calc scale), teams up with his younger sister, who also happens to be a super-genius, to do some good. Their first mission involves the mysterious appearances of some monsters as well as a team up with a certain other green monster's cousin as well as a friendly neighborhood superhero (not that one) and a goddess of thunder...

This is a fun lark of a book, not too heavy, but still evoking a smidgen of that ol’ Hulk angst. I do like how Pak has leaned into the hubris of genius and the brash overconfidence of youth to give a new spin on the usual “man or monster” tale we get from Hulk stories.

I recognised artist Frank Cho - he does lovely detailed work. I didn't recognise the other artist or the writers, I'm v bad with names.

I'd just like to point out that the alien queen's ship totes looks like a Jawa Sandcrawler. Also anyone can see where her collecting is going … But I'm here to get a handle on new Hulk! I'm only vaguely aware of Chulk – I think he cameoed in a volume of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur - so I'm super interested in seeing the difference between Banner and Amadeus. I find it endlessly amusing that superhero comics are littered with teenagers in charge of matters that may impact the the entire planet. Less amusing is the number of adult females being flirty with teenager Chulk? I know he's a hornbag but sheeze.

I loved the continuing metaphor of Amadeus being in control of car: first with the Hulk being barely contained in the trunk, then in the backseat, then in the front passenger seat, then in the driver's seat, then sharing control … very nice. It's a clever way to show Cho's state, and way better than just having endless closeups of a constipation face.

I liked the mix of comedic moments, drama and character development, although there are a LOT of cameos here - is that a staple of Marvel comics in general or of this series in particular? Regardless, I might be tempted to continue with this series.
