Whoever tells you comic books are incapable of or inferior in telling emotionally complex stories is full of ****. I know this is not he only example of such among comic books, but I was particularly impressed with Donny Cates' new Venom series. Excellent storytelling, nuanced complex characterisation, and absolutely sublime artwork. Can't wait for Vol. 3 in February!

Wow, again ignoring the King in Black stuff this was an incredible story, really helped me see Eddie's Venom as a complex character

The darkness of this series by Donny Cates et al is really amazing, the personal aspect to the story and the interaction between Eddie Brock and the symbiote is both compelling and heart wrenching, you see the love and the turmoil from both view points in this story cant wait to read the next volume.

Really good! This is rekindling my love of comics, had gotten tired after a while. Art is fantastic.
