What makes Jennifer Moore's books so good to me is that they're historically detailed and accurate, which I'll admit is rather rare in the Regency Romance genre. But I still love it. Unless it's too inaccurate. Then I wonder what right it has to call itself historical.

Changing review to 4 stars.
I liked this even better the second time. :) I just re-read the series for the second go-around.
These a fun, short, and sweet stories. Squeaky clean.
(And I am also easily entertained.)
But not a fan of this book’s cover!

PERFECTION. Seriously, with a girl from Charleston, SC and a guy from Spain, how could I not?! Beautiful blend of adventure, romance, and reality. Can't wait to meet this author someday, she's my new favorite! <3

It was a cute, light, fluffy romance. Nothing surprising or unexpected. Great little pick me up, but nothing to different.

Meg is a young woman from America sent to England by her family to snag a wealthy husband to save their families business. Meg wants no part of it and doesn't really fit in with the ton. She makes friends with the Prince's stable hand, Carlo, and soon his friendship means more. When they are kidnapped, he reveals he really is the prince.

Fast read, cute plot.

Meh.
The overall feeling this book produced was meh. It was not especially clever nor engaging. I found mysef merely skimming through pages to catch the main plot points. I am all for light reads, but this was more of a flat read.
Not terrible but I do not think I would waste time on another book from this author.

This is a really good story! It was different than I expected, but in a good way. I listened to the audiobook, which I think made it even better because of the narrator's portrayal of Prince Rodrigo's Spanish accent that made him sound so exotic.

While it's a pretty basic story, I really enjoyed it. The interactions of the two.main characters were authentic and endearing and it was a fun read. There's definitely the Mean Girl, and the Bad Boyfriend.

I enjoyed it up until the ball, then it kind of lost me.
