This sucked me in pretty quickly. Really liked how the time skips were done and the way they gave me small bits of info throughout.
Especially loved Iris she’s the petticoat badass we need!
Didn’t know there was a second one but was very happy to get an ad for it immediately after finishing.
Sidenote this has a plethora of potential triggers so proceed with caution ⚠️

This was a very dark book, and I was not expecting it.  I really liked the way that the story alternated between the "present" timeline of the bank heist, and the "past" timeline of all of the different cons that Nora pulled with her mom growing up.  I also liked the slow uncovering of the mystery of all of the past girls that Nora pretended to be for her con artist mom.  However, I was not prepared for those cons to result in child abuse and child SA.

I loved the characters, especially Iris, and the plot kept my attention.  This would be a good read for folks who like grim books with a dark tone, especially ones where the villains get what is coming to them.
