Love, Holly is a romance with Christmas vibes in it but it could easily be read and enjoyed at any other time of the year as well!
I loved this book, it gave me all of the feels which is my favorite kind of reading experience! I laughed, I teared up, I wanted to hug it at the end.
This was one of those romances with depth, the characters had excellent growth, the difficult things they worked through were real and raw and the romance was a beautiful part of that woven in with the real life things they were working through.
If you enjoy books that have themes of love, found family (as well as family you are born into), forgiveness, heartbreak and healing then pick this one up! It is well worth the read and I will be recommending it to others!
Thank you NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine, Dell for the e-arc!

I have read all three of Emily Stone's books, and they just keep getting better. I look forward to Christmas romance reads every year, and she is one of my go-to authors. Her books are filled with so much heart and depth, and they're cozy and sweet, and I just love them so much. This one was no exception. I adored Holly, the MC, and her relationship with the kind curmudgeon, Emma, and how all this came to be because of fate, including the romance with Jack.
Really lovely and sweet…what I really appreciate about Emily Stone’s writing is the way her love stories are set against tender, difficult, real-life scenarios that genuinely tug at your heart and deepen the meaning of the relationships between characters. Her books definitely aren’t rom-coms, more often stories of healing and second chances, and while that might make them a bit heavier at times, I’m always glad I decided to read them.
I felt like there were some grammatical errors in the first half of the book? So maybe it just needed another pass through editing. Otherwise, I liked it! Not overly Christmasy.

I picked this up out of my Little Free Library just expecting a somewhat cringey, 2.5-star, Hallmark Christmas book, and this was so much better! I love the realistic pacing of the story and the realistic feel of the characters. I found all of the characters likable despite their flaws. I’m so pleasantly surprised by this and will be checking out more of Emily Stone’s works.

sweet book! i really liked holly's character and the changes she made in how she related with people over the course of the novel. even more than the romance with jack, i liked holly's friendship with emma. heartbreaking but so lovely. i did not find this book as christmas heavy as others i read this holiday season, so i think it could be enjoyed at other times of the year too.
Moderate: Death, Miscarriage, Car accident, Death of parent
Love, Holly is a cute concept. I don’t feel there was a lot of depth to the characters. It was a pretty plateau of emotions, not a lot of ups and downs. Technically it has a happy ending, but I wouldn’t recommend this book to
Those looking for a typical happy holiday “hallmark” movie type of a book.
