Is it a rom-com, is it a second chance romance, is it a missed connection? I think it’s all of the above. Loved really about Holly and her wanting to help one of pen pals, who turns out to be someone she needed in her life.

i have literally just ordered a paperback. when i say that i’m in love with this book, that is a massive understatement. the christmas letter is so heartwarming and heartbreaking. it is full of moments that will make you laugh, moments that will tear your heart to shreds and, if you’re anything like me, cry. for a while. i adore jack and i adore holly and i adore emma. i loved the achingly devastating slow-burn that was the romance, and i loved the connection between them all.
i have nothing bad to say about this book, and i can’t wait to read more of the authors work.

I got bored about halfway through but decided to finish it just for the sake of resolution. So glad I made myself do so - totally worth it to see everything come full circle.
If you’re looking for a solid, heartwarming story to read around Christmas time, I’d give this one a try!

This book was heartbreakingly beautiful in every way.
This was a very heartfelt read. If I was still in my crying at everything era in life, I just KNOW this one would’ve had me crying multiple times.
I was expecting this to be a full on Christmas-esque book because of the cover and preview on the back of the book, but honestly I think the amount of holiday sprinkled in there worked perfectly.

Super cute, feel good, low key holiday romance, filled with hope.
This is the second book I have read from this author and she always gets me in tears! Heartfelt, love and family relationships, loss, comfort, time.
