3.5 - 4 stars. I can't decide.

So things weren't tied up with a ribbon.
Because that's not real life.

It's really hard to read, this book is, mainly because I cannot stand seeing Meg going on a self-destructive path.

This was a hard book to read. Not because of the writing, but the heaviness of the story. There were so many times I wanted to smack the main character because she was being stupid. Thing is, it was realistic, everything that happened. That is why this is a good story. It didn't sugar coat real things to make you feel better about yourself while reading it. It was believable. I do think the ending was a bit rushed. I'd have liked to see it flow easier. All and all, 4/5 platypires.
