This is a compilation of some speeches by Greta. She reiterated time and time again a call for action against the climate crisis. Throughout the different speeches she repeats generally the same information but perhaps what we need to get the importance of the situation is just that. She speaks with much passion and urgency. This is a quick read and accessible even though there are a couple points she brings up about topics that are not expanded upon. However that would be due to the format and the context in which these speeches were given.

The only thing I would have added to this book would be a little more context for each speech and some surrounding additional description, but it's definitely not a significant issue considering the power of the speeches included.
The fact that these speeches have to be so repetitive is extremely alarming, I wish she didn't have to make the same points over and over, but she should be proud to have reached so many people. We've got a lot more work to do.

Some people say that the climate crisis is something we have all created. But that is just another convenient lie. Because if everyone is guilty then no one is to blame.

It truly baffles me that at least half of the world population doesn't believe in climate change. You can literally feel and see the effects happening around us. It genuinely infuriates me, as my eco-anxiety climbs through the roof.

I've always admired Greta for her work. It doesn't matter that she's younger than most of us - she is doing the most while the rest of us just sit here. Most of her speeches are repetitive as they are slightly tailored for various audiences. However, the repetitiveness adds to the message she is trying to get across.

How many times to scientists have to tell us that if we don't act now, we'll see irreversible changes. We're already seeing things that can be further prevented but not reversed. I hope that everyone reads this collection of speeches and tries to educate themself, no matter how young or old you are.

"Adults keep saying: ‘We owe it to the young people to give them hope.’
But I don't want your hope.
I don't want you to be hopeful.
I want you to panic.
I want you to feel the fear I feel every day.
And then I want you to act.
I want you to act as you would in a crisis.
I want you to act as if our house is on fire.
Because it is."

Everyone should read this, takes just an hour. Since this is a collection of speeches, it gets repetitive.
