4.5 Amé dms el libro y sobre too elijaaah. Pero me faltó un poco la transición de ellos como pareja, siento que casi too el tiempo hablaban de los niñes y no cosas personales. Además q se llamara hadley lit me cagaba el momento jsjdj

I genuinely enjoyed this book. and i think it’s one of the most realistic books i’ve read this year. single moms deserve their happily ever after too.

Woah. I love Elijah. They met at a grocery store and he was arguing with her daughter, Lucy, over a bag of Funyuns. He is their new neighbour. She is pregnant with another baby. Her ex is a dick and is lazy and doesn’t have a job. He doesn’t care about his kids and he cheated on her with her cousin. Elijah helped her and drove her to the hospital after her water broke. I love Lucy. She is literally the most energetic sweetest thing every.
So real and beautiful!
I normally avoid books with kids in them for many reasons but this one was recommended by someone in a reading group I’m in and so I thought, “What the hell, I’ll give it a shot.” I’m so glad I did. The kids weren’t treated as an afterthought on this book, instead they were an integral part of the story. The emotions were real and raw with both characters. It was a great storyline with a slow burn romance and I couldn’t put it down.
