i loved this one a whole lot. these days i don't really enjoy reading young adult but man, this one was special.
was so great and relevant reading about important topics being discussed like feminism, activism (or is it?), being asian in US and all of that inside a high school with teenagers who are still figuring out who they are and who they want to be.
really liked all the characters and their developments throughout the book
not here to be liked is a wonderful debut novel and so relevant! everyone should read it and have a good laugh, deep reflections and of course enjoy a cute romance

Je n'ai pas aimé la manière dont le féminisme était traité car l'autrice aurait pu le lier au racisme (contre les asiatiques par exemple)
I think this is such an important book for the age group it‘s meant for - the struggle with feminism, what it means etc and the realization that it‘s not so black and white is amazing - and all that packed into your „normal“ cutesie romance novel - so cool
