In conclusion: Wren is now one of my favorite characters in this series.

The story was way more straight forward than the folk of air trilogy. And yet somehow blew me away. It's an amazing addition to the world of Elfhame and I supper excited to jump into the next book.

I think I got overly hyped for this and my expectation wasn't quite met. I enjoyed it for what it is about Oak and Wren but it feels lacking. However the ending of course left me interested enough in wanting to read the next installment but not in a hurry.

I love the world of Elfhame and i love the way Suren is written and the power she holds. I can't wait for the second book. I got a tattoo for the cruel prince series and I'm starting to think i might get one for this

I love a character who finally finds their strength and power! Perfect set up for a sequel. I love almost everything Holly Black writes. This was another great story in my favorite world.
