Wonderful ending to the Broken Earth trilogy!! This novel delved deeply into the history of the stone eaters and answered all the questions brought up by previous entries in the series. All the major characters were explored in depth to the very end. I really don't have much to say. The Stone Sky is a satisfying and cathartic conclusion to a well-written series. If you've made it through to the second book in the series and enjoyed it, I really see no reason to stop now.

I would give it more than five stars if I could. The stunning finale to easily the most beautiful, captivating, thoughtful, enticing, and important trilogy of modern SFF. I am just blown away by the world created in these books and the way it has so irrevocably changed mine. Cannot recommend these highly enough.

Best conclusion to a series I’ve probably ever read. I don’t think I’ll ever forget these characters or this world and I’m already looking forward to reading it again. Some books just make my heart hurt and soar at the same time.

2023 Re-Read! I genuinely had forgotten everything that happened in this one, so it was like reading it for the first time. I just love this series.

This book is bursting with hope. It just keeps reminding you that yeah, life is hard, and people can be awful but also life should be great and people make it worth living. The POVs work really well to reinforce these ideas. My only thing is that sometimes the fantasy and scifi elements clash but that also kind of helps thematically.

When the Earth speaks, it is not in words.

What a damned good conclusion to this series. A lot of the mysteries get explained as well so this was just a thrilling ride that had me questioning what the ultimate conclusion would be up until the end. I will forever scream from the roof tops about Jemisin's writing being some of the most beautifully written prose I've experienced. Because at the end that's what this is, an experience. Some of my favorite, most heart wrenching moments are in this book. I am beyond happy I read this trilogy.
