One Bossy Proposal

Nicole Snow

3.63 AVERAGE

This was hilarious, the sexual energy of their fighting just was like "bone already". My favorite of them though is the fruit situation. I loved Wyatt, I felt for him and the fact that Lincoln was trying so hard just was hard to read at times. I loved this book though, I read most of it in one sitting. I really want to get a second book that focuses on her friend though!
emotional lighthearted medium-paced

I wanted to give this a 4 star rating, with the funny quips, sweet enemies to lover's romance build up, and the amazing side character support. It all just worked well together for the most part.

But it fell short in a few places. There were points when the story was going in one direction but ended up feeling rushed before heading a different way, making the story feel like it fell short in important moments. At one point, their friends tried to encourage them to take a chance when there was a falling out, but it felt off or not a serious as I was expecting it to be.

But I adored Dakota and Lincoln. The friends and his mother were great supporting roles in both comedy and serious pushes towards them getting together. I appreciated the main characters working towards a relationship and felt the frustrations when things didn't work out. It was a good read and I plan to read the next book.

I’m so freaking pissed at this book. I want to light it on fire and burn it. It was fantastic until about 80%, I was fine even after the communication problems and breaking up for stupid reasons, I was still on board but then he “apologizes” and she takes him back. That was a sorry sack of shit of an apology, he fucked up big fucking time. He basically did the same thing her ex did and she just took him back. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!??!? Where was the grovelling? the apologizing like you mean it? I wanted to full on smack some sense into Dakota. When someone fucks up like that the only way to take them back is after some serious hardcore grovelling, none of that “I’m sorry until it gets hard” shit, grovel until you die. That’s what I’m looking for. This was a straight 3.5 to 4 star read until then. I might come back and change my rating when I calm down but I’m really pissed right now and I’m going to go read one of my favourites to calm down.

This is probably one of the fastest books I ever dnf’d. I stopped after
the mmc offered like 500 bucks for the cinnamon roll.
it had me rolling my eyes so badly. Plus, the writing style is not for me.

3 stars for me. Romance story that dragged out for too long.
