One Bossy Proposal

Nicole Snow

3.63 AVERAGE

I really enjoyed this book by Nicole Snow. I’m a fan of grumpy sunshine books, as well as the banter between the two. Was it long? Yeah, but I feel like that just made it better because it lasted longer! The spice was perfect and Nicole did a great job working out their relationship.

not tik tok and not her being a shitty poet, god they were so cringy! if you're a writer but not a poet don't try to make them; as easy as that, it's not just rhyming and repeating words i swear to god

the scenes of the fmm with her best friend were SO boring i had to skip them, they were not funny and she was just (again) repeating what we saw in the last chapter

didn't like the extra episode either it was just lacking

also i know damn well tillie (the mother in law) is on of those that's just snooping around and trying to decide over the kids lives!! she just gives off that vibes

and the whole idea of evermore, forevermore, bla, bla, bla it's not even an idea anymore because it has been on so many books

funny hopeful inspiring lighthearted relaxing medium-paced

it was good and a quick read i have definitely read better but i have also read worse, but i feel like nothing sold this book out from the other 10,000 books like it

I’ve been a fan of Nicole Snow since reading the Grumpy Men series, but this book was just not for me. It was entirely too long - I found myself so bored a lot of the time and just trying to get through the 20-30 minute chapters.

Also, I just hated the FMC. She was extremely immature - like who talks to their boss the way that she did?!!

There were a few times in the book where the same scenario was discussed like it didn’t happen before. When Dakota texted Eliza about what Lincoln said in the meeting about her in front of her coworkers. Then later that same day when they are stalking him, they have the exact same conversation in person (and acted like they didn’t already discuss it in text messages).

UGH, I really don’t want to hate too much on a book, but I am in the minority and I just wasn’t a fan.

too long and icky cover but interesting at points
