Listen I love me an office romance…however…. This one was just a little bland. Now it wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t mind blowing either, it was kinda just okay lol. It started off really well but then as it went on I just got really bored so it took me a while to finish. Solid 3⭐️ from me :)

The first arc (?) of the book was adorable with all their bickering and little arguments, as well as the mutual pining-ish. I lost slowly after that. When they got together, there was a bunch of smut, which I must say, wasn't that interesting (?). What was most frustrating to me was that Lincoln was so stubborn and adamant on not chasing after Dakota and the blatant hate towards Olivia (understandable, but I could also see where Olivia was coming from and it wasn't fair to her). Wyatt >>> Dakota was a pretty great female lead, and I think her and Wyatt were the most reasonable, as well as Anne and Cheryl. But, Lincoln...step up your game, man.

[2.5 Stars] A lot of stilted dialogue and a lot cringey dialogue (sometimes both at the same time) but the overall story was decent. I don’t know if I’m a fan of the boss/employee trope because all I could think of was sexual harassment lawsuits at every interaction between Lincoln and Dakota. I might check out other books by this author but for now I think I’ll live on to some other authors.
