Phenomenal, beautifully well-executed, and hilarious throughout.

It’s definitely worth a read. No doubt an incredible book, I just found it quite challenging both in content, voice and pace. Which I think is right, but meant I “enjoyed” it less and hadn’t realised that’s how I’d feel about it.

The humor feels a little forced in the first chapter or two, but the story blossoms into a nice immigrant experience in 80s/90s London.  I did feel like there were some minor plot holes, but the story is overall quite engaging.
