I just read this for the sake of completion, as I’m reading every book in the series (only 4 left after this). For a journal, this is great because it has so much fun guided writing material and comics (even if they’re not that great). Obviously this can’t compare to any of the novels, and it’s not the sort of thing I would have even written in as a kid.

Also, the copy I got was in a library store, so while it was only 50 cents or something, it is mostly used. I’m going to donate it, but I probably would have donated it even if no one had written in it.
