toxic codependency at its finest

These characters are a hot mess. Their relationship is toxic and full of red flags but I loved it so much.
My love for this book isn’t because this is an epic romance but because it’s raw and there are couples out there that really are like this
The author wrote this beautifully and captured so many deep motions

I wanted to love this one so much but I just never felt that connection to the characters or their relationship.
Ole dude was obsessed and calling her “mine” by chapter two, in which they had only a few very brief encounters.

This focuses heavily on mental health, which I love as someone who struggles with their own, but there were never any deep conversations of any sort or really anything to base their relationship off of. They really only had a sexual connection and I need more than that to draw me in, especially from a book that is trying to be deep.

If you enjoy insta-love/ obsession then you may like this.
I just found myself wanting more.

⚠️ This is quite dark - check content and trigger warnings before diving in.

It was a really good read, it was troubling for sure, with heavy emotions.

Twisted and messed up, but raw and real. I cried.

please check trigger warnings

This is a great book about how people suffer with childhood trauma and drug addiction. And how could it effect everyday life situations and relationships.

I read this book pretty quickly. It definitely captured my attention. Hallie meets Zayne at school. Zayne is pretty toxic. He has bipolar and a drug abuse problem. Can’t remember much else but I remember it being a good read.
