How many times can an 86-page book me laugh? How many times can it make me cry? I lost count!

Worth reading. I recommend it.

Surprising, but still sweet.

Really lovely, even as an adult. I was transported. I am very much enjoying the revisit of this story.

I loved Skylark! It picks up where Sarah, Plain and Tall leaves off. It is set during what I assume was the Dust Bowl. Very hard times on the Kansas prairie. Part of this book is set in Maine and I just LOVE the three aunts!

“Maine is green and full of voices and people laughing and talking, the tide going in and going out, the moon rising above the water. Sarah loves it here.”

It's hard to live up to Sarah Plain and Tall, but this is pretty good for a sequel.
