I was so excited for this book!! It was pretty good. A little short and dragged out but I get it since its a 6 book series (I believe). But the spice was soooo good. There was sword crossings and men kissing men and all of that good stuff. Not to mention the DVP??? okay Firethorn, I see you. Haha, it was so good! Rhett is definitely getting some character development and it makes me love him more.
I felt like the feelings of... everyone, really, was very dragged out and I get it, I do. This relationship is very emotion filled and emotion driven so it's important to write their feelings and such but damn, it was annoying to read the same thing over and over. The writing almost reminds me of Wattpad.

the fact that i now have to wait like 6 months for the next book kills me
The Ruthless desire series! Short spicy reads with a great amount of plot! I fell in love in the first book because they were so spicy and easy and still contained lots of plot and entertainment. They did loose focus a bit after the next few books but they honestly were still so good! The first book is under 150 pages, the second is around 160 and then third is around 220! They’re so easy to read and the fourth one comes out in Feb.

I didn't like this book as much as the two previous books in this series. The kidnapping and resolution didn't seem to be paced well. The writing felt a bit rushed and lazy at times. I still plan to finish the series though lol.
