The book left me more confused the longer I read it

Absolutely fantastic!!! It's phenomenal and inspiring and sad, and just all around meaningful. And entertaining! I'm a total book nerd, but my friend isn't, and I got her hooked when I would send her snippits of the book. We ended up reading the last half together, and (obviously) loved the entire thing!!

You know what, besides the obvious asshole-ness of the MMC and the “too nice” personality of the FMC with additional too much drama going on, I kinda liked this book enough to give it three stars. It’s a good book. But I’m probably just biased with characters like Drew.

Ah-mazing!

I was looking for a good book to read and boy was this it. I finished it in less than 24 hours and literally could not put it down. Drew and Brooke were a dynamic duo and it really reminded me of a previous relationship I had minus all the drama. I would recommend this to anyone and I cannot wait to read another book by this author! Brooke will get you and pull at your heart strings for everything she’s been through and Drew with his protective nature was incredible. Highly highly recommend!

Surprised I liked it

I will be honest. I hated Andrew through most of the book. I severely dislike him as a person. It's hard not getting his poverty to understand what's going on, but not hard to dislike him.I will say that I felt the author held true to his character. I felt his responses were accurate based on what we knew and I appreciated that.

I felt that Brook was portrayed perfectly. Some reviews actually trashed Brook as being wishwashy. Nope, not at all. She's a hormonal teen around a football stud trying to hang on to her virginity. Spot on.

I enjoyed the book. While reading it, I did think it was long, but I realize a lot needed to be setup for the ending. It was a very interesting turn of events. I guessed some but was totally blindsided by others.
