I started this book and couldn't keep reading. The FMC was just stupid? Oder insuffe able 1. She works for 3 years under this baker because he's supposedly brilliant but he doesn't change any recipes only uses traditional baking, so what makes him brilliant? What could you possibly learn from him after three years. 2. She was approached by other bakery's where she would have creative freedom and a good salary. 3. Apparently doesn't have any money and her mother would rather cat sit than go to a dance she was exited about because she needed the money.

So why would you stay? Because of a dream about your own bakery? That doesn't make any sense.

I didn't like her and her logic

I thought this was cute and cozy, but I didn’t really get James’ story line too much, he was just kinda there. Like he did do sweet things, just their like build up was confusing and his part in the heat, idk I lacked connection with him I guess. But as far as omegaverses go, it was half decent! I liked that she tried to be independent, and really most omegas in books don’t have a life outside of sex and babies. So it was nice to see that theme kinda followed through. I thought there’d be a bit more to the ending but overall I enjoyed and was looking for a nice cozy read and it hit most of those

I miss the cozyverse tbh but it was cute. I wish there had been more resolution in the relationships

I really enjoyed this cute and sweet omegaverse story.

Elena is an omega who has been living as a beta for years in order to pursue her dreams. She has been an apprentice at Pierre’s bakery for years and finally has the chance to be promoted, but only if she can place in the top three of the town’s festival baking competition. Elena does not expect the attraction she feels for Damian, one of the judges, James, a fellow contestant, or Cole, the festival’s fire safety officer. She has to navigate all of those relationships while also trying to focus on winning the competition for herself and her mom. But what happens when her biology starts to overpower the medication could spell disaster for Elena and all three alphas.

I loved the playful banter between Elena and James! They were absolutely adorable together. Cole was so sweet and patient with her, but he definitely knew how to turn up the heat! I also really enjoyed how all three alphas seemed to be drawn to Elena without knowing exactly why. I did feel that the storyline was a little predictable at times, but I still really enjoyed reading it.
