Here we have a comic about an unemployed college drop out "loser." He lives with his mom and works at a sandwich shop. There he meets Nora, his married co-worker, who he falls in love with. They have an affair ,then she quits, and then he's heartbroken. He drinks himself nearly to death on New Years Eve. That's it.

1999 in general I think freezes a moment and feeling in time. This pre-2k where everyone was kind of suspicious and anxious. Also, I think we've all had our loser moments in one form or other and while reading this you will definitely feel that "loser" feeling you were trying to forget. I don't think this is the most original work or anything but it's nicely done in a compact 32 pages that I think it could be worth a read.
