i love remo i do but i've read half this book a couple months ago and had to drop it bc of too fucking much misogyny, even the most popular line thats all over tiktok has my nose scrunching up in disgust, but bc i continued where ive left off, i forgot most of his controversial takes about women.
u are lying to me if you say seraphina
u are lying to me if you say seraphina
Spoiler
didnt return to him just bc of the kids and a subtle stockholm syndrome
I was undecided between giving it 3 or 4 stars because there were times when Remo and Serafina stressed me out. But I liked the ending, and I think it was a good ending for them
First 55% were entertaining enough but the last 45% was ITTTT for real omgggg
Remo Falcone, the man that you are 😩
Serafina is SUCH an icon. I wanna be her when I grow up!!

the first half of the book was so boring but the ending made up for it
I was super excited to read this book bc of Remo obviously!

Remo wasn’t really, in my opinion, ruthless like he was in the other two books. I still love him and how he would do anything for his family! Love him and Kiara absolutely! I forgot he raised Savio and Adamo when they were little-
Serafina got on my nerves. Yes she was as OW would say a badass. Never let Remo step on her. Always stood up for herself! But during the middle she really got on my nerves.
I wish we got more cute moments with them together I just didn’t think they connected. I didn’t really see the chemistry between Remo and Serafina.
But Nevio and Greta saved the day which is a 10/10 love them especially Greta :,)

Overall, really got my hopes up but only read it for Remo and I’m glad Fabiano got what he wanted! He will always have a special place in my heart :)

I read the kidnapping of Serafina from Dante's pov first, then read this book. But after reading Nino's book and how Remo looked at Serafina's photo, it definitely changed my feelings toward Remo. Remo is unhinged, but thats what made this book a page turner. Serafina was his wake up call, never backing down. I originally felt sorry for Serafina's fiance, but he would have never made Fina happy. Serafina needed to be free to be more than a trophy wife. She could be herself with Remo. And Remo needed a reality check through Serafina. Remo hated women because he saw them as weak, brainless and breakable. But Serafina brought him to his knees. And I enjoyed every minute of it. Reading Bound by the past first I was upset when Serafina went back to Remo. But after reading Twisted Pride, I'm upset she ever left his side. I know it was needed for them to come to terms with their feelings for each other. But boy was it frustrating to watch them suffer. Kiara told Remo he would meet someone who be his match, and Remo needed that for his character development. Serafina's pregnancy did make me feel a type of way, since I would have preferred she went back to Remo because she wanted to and not because she needed to. But at the end of the day I feel they both wanted each other to make the first move.
I had high expectations for this book and unfortunately I didn't like it, I hated the way Remo treated Serafina, and I didn't even quite understand when they started to love each other, it's as if the book had a clear dividing line between the before (contempt, disgust, hate) and after (love, desire, devotion), the dynamics to bring the characters to the evolution of their feelings are not clear.
The only thing I really liked was the relationship between Remo and the children

Nino y Kiara siguen siendo mi pareja favorita. NINO ES EL MEJOR FALCONE Y NADIE LO PUEDE NEGAR ❤️.
