I was super excited to read this book bc of Remo obviously!
-
Remo wasn’t really, in my opinion, ruthless like he was in the other two books. I still love him and how he would do anything for his family! Love him and Kiara absolutely! I forgot he raised Savio and Adamo when they were little-
Serafina got on my nerves. Yes she was as OW would say a badass. Never let Remo step on her. Always stood up for herself! But during the middle she really got on my nerves.
I wish we got more cute moments with them together I just didn’t think they connected. I didn’t really see the chemistry between Remo and Serafina.
But Nevio and Greta saved the day which is a 10/10 love them especially Greta :,)

Overall, really got my hopes up but only read it for Remo and I’m glad Fabiano got what he wanted! He will always have a special place in my heart :)

I generally liked this book and like them as a couple
There were some parts that made it hard to root for them as he was a little to close to assaulting her at some points...
other times I would have liked to have seen more emotional intimacy, not just sexual

I think this one might be the best so far from either interconnected series. Their dynamic, the tension, and build up made it worth it. While some areas were rushed it had enough background and development to build up the story well and make Remo and Serafina’s relationship work

So while I love Remo's crazy I feel like he manipulated Serifina horribly. Yes it was her choice but there was some serious malice on his part.

This was a definite page turner

[December 2023]
I looked forward to Remo's story the most. He was the most unhinged among them brothers and frankly, I wanted to see him on his knees for a woman. I wanted him to be humbled and boy, was he humbled. The story is dark (darker than some) and there are a lot of things here that are dubious and bordering on manipulation and abuse (
Spoilerhe kindapped her for fuck's sake! (but he never hurt her)
). I remember reading [b:The Darkest Temptation|56250307|The Darkest Temptation (Made, #3)|Danielle Lori|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1607700241l/56250307._SX50_.jpg|72929458] and thinking it was Stockholm Syndrome. That was before. Times changed, I've read a bunch of dark romance books now. Though a bit ambiguous and difficult to explain, I think Remo truly loved Serafina in his own way. It's dark romance for a reason (and fiction!), so it served well.
