I absolutely loved the Netflix limited series Bodies (2023), so I was hoping against hope after seeing the ratings and reviews of the graphic novel that inspired it, Bodies by Si Spencer, that I would at least like the source material. That said, this just sucked. It has moments where it could be a good, but it wastes it. Definitely one of those situations where the adaptation is far, far better than the source material. I feel like I should do a rewatch get this out of my head.

I picked this up from the library Monday afternoon, and read it all in one sitting Monday night. The art is great, the characters are interesting, and the plot seems to be going somewhere, but then… the ending is just incomprehensible. Maybe it would make more sense if I were British.

Una obra sin mucho sentido, a decir verdad. Las historias no se conectan realmente bien y el arte resulta poco atractivo, a pesar del intento de darle a cada relato su propia visual. La serie que adaptó Netflix le hizo un gran favor a esta novela gráfica.
Not as good as i was expecting it to be. It wasn't necessarily terrible but more that i couldn't get into the story.

TF did I just read. I checked this out because of the Netflix series of the same name which I rather enjoyed. The fundamental concept is the same in both, I guess - four detectives in four different time periods encounter the same dead body - but that’s about it. The plot to this makes no sense, I’m still not sure what some of the major themes that I’m absolutely supposed to understand mean, and it’s very heavy handed on the morality.
сюжет незрозумілий, заплутаний і що до чого абсолютно не пояснено. Окей, фінал історії незрозумілий, до фіналу все йшло нормально по сюжету.. Я приблизно його зрозуміла, але багато залишилось за кадром. Малюнок гарний. Я навіть не одразу зрозуміла, що кожен часовий проміжок то інший стиль, настільки вони всі гарні та схожі. Втім, я шкодую, що купила в папері. Книга не настільки гарна та вартісна. Краще б купила комікс про Рейвен. Я сподівалась на гарний містичний детектив, а отримала містичне щось. Сумно
Me ha gustado pero no lo he entendido (o lo he entendido pero no me ha gustado tanto). Al final la potente premisa se deshincha tanto que me recuerda a Lost.
