I loved reading this. It made me cry three times, that's how I know it's a great story! :)

I loved the story honestly, but i didnt like the end, why the hell arent Jo and Laurie together ? Anyway except that, i loved the mood it was very easy to read and i enjoyed the very end because its like we were on a play throughout the story. I also loved the lectures Mrs March give to her daughters, they were really soothing and gave me the need of listening to her, and apply some of her advices. All the friendships were odd but coherent in some ways. Thats why i loved Little Women, its written beautifully and it gives you lot to reflect on

I didn't think I would like another classic more than Jane Austen but I totally fell in love with this one.

I was inspired to read Little Women after having watched Greta Gerwig’s adaption of the children’s classic. I read a few chapters each night before bed as a nice evening ritual before going to sleep. Despite the at times formal sounding language and the relatively mundane plot compared to what I usually read, I can say with full confidence that I absolutely loved reading Little Women. Such a beautiful story filled with great morals and lessons which realistically portray human nature and remind us of all that is good in the world. Despite having been written so many years ago it is still relevant and as a 17 year old in 2021, I found the characters and their experiences very much relatable. I would highly recommend it as a must read classic, 5/5 stars!

I had never read this book in school, so I was pleasantly surprised to find the prose lighthearted and lovely. The life lessons are definitely dated, but it was an enjoyable read and I liked getting to go back in time to an earlier era where women were treated so differently than today.

If possible I would have given it a 3.5. I read it for the sake of "something I can't believe I have never read and must make it right!" Ya, it kind of felt like a homework assignment. I kind of couldn't stand how these little women spoke. I get the historical context but over 500 pages? It was a little much.
