As someone who’s brain melts at numbers and is brand new to the world of investing and heck, even savings 🤪 this was an easy-to-follow read. The most important message being, don’t mimic the actions of those playing a different game than you/ make sure you know what game you’re playing.

It was clear and concise. I read it for free on hoopla but I’m definitely buying it and annotating a physical copy 🤌

now THIS is the run-of-the-mill bog standard finance book i was promised! the writing's pretty alright, the stories are funny but again it suffers the issue of being able to be boiled down to 2 pages worth of useful advice. at least he has the decency to compile it himself, though, so unless you're coming for the anecdotes and stories, do yourself a favor and just take a picture of those 2 pages at the back of the book. although, if you've thought about finances for more than 12 seconds, even that might be superfluous. still, like i said, all things considered i quite enjoyed it.
