Clementine Haas has been born again, it's not because she found God but because she was brought back to life after a deadly plane crash to witch she is the lone survivor. But being born again apparently has its down sides as Clementine has no memory of who she is. With the press trying to figure out her story and Clementine not knowing her story she panics and dares a boy she meets in the hospital courtyard to take her away claiming her name is Jane. With her new friend Kieran who takes her in Jane is determined to figure out her new life.

This book is undoubtedly charming, the Irish setting makes me miss Ireland but not knowing Irish culture would not inhibit the reading of this book. It's such a sweet story, all the characters are spitefires in their own way and it makes the interactions all the more fun. I'd recommend this book for someone looking for a romance book with a bit of a twist, or someone just looking for a nice easy read.

It was ok

I think I like this book? But I don’t know. The main character runs away because she’s certain she don’t remember anything when she sees her dad. Then as soon as she sees him she remembers everything (at the end). It was just frustrating as I read about her continually making choices that meant she was lying and refusing to deal with her life. But she’s 19... so

Ah what a wonderful little YA gem! This book is like fanfiction, but I mean that in 100% the best way. It’s adorable, trope-y, and addicting.

For a book that begins with a plane crash and amnesia, it’s a surprisingly light read. It’s set in a small Irish town filled with quirky characters. It’s full of lots of endearing little moments and adventures. And the main couple is so, so cute. It’s truly impossible not to ship them (even if there is a lot of lying and poor communication between them). Crane does a great job creating characters that really stick with you and endear you. She also does a great job creating a breezy little plot that is un-put-down-able!

The book is pretty unbelievable, which is totally fine by me. After all, that’s what fiction is for. So my only wish is that she pushed it a bit more to be more dreamy and atmospheric. I wish we got more description of Waterville. It seems like such a cute little town that I feel like Crane could have brought it to life even more.

Overall, this book is a quick little escape into Ireland. It’s a really fun YA that is perfect for a weekend read or a palette cleanser between more serious novels.

This book is a shrug. The concept had promise, but I think the way the plot carried out was just okay. I like Siobhan and Clive...that's about it. I think every aspect of this book had more to give and, sadly, it wasn't given.

Mary Sue

I'm not a fan of this book. The best I can say is I got through it quickly. The main character is a Mary Sue. Everyone loves her except one character who she has to win over but in the end she loves her too. People instantly love her for seemingly no reason. She has hardly any personality at all but people keep calling her strong and funny and other adjectives you never see in action.

She makes no logical decision in the entire book. The dialogue is unbelievable, completely unrealistic. The interactions are strange. The two main characters barely interact or talk but they still manage to fall "in love."

I don't recommend.

I started and finished this book in one night. It’s a cute page turner. Some lovely life lessons and inspiration. Lovable characters. Hope she writes a second book!

Sweet story about resilience with a dash of a love story and some wanderlust mixed in.

I’d like to thank @storygramtours for giving me a copy of this book.

My feelings on this book are so mixed. The writing was beautiful, I really liked Clementine/Jane, and the ending was really well done. I also loved Clive and Stephen!

However I really couldn’t buy into this love story. It seemed like they barely even knew each other, and I just wasn’t able to feel the chemistry, making this one a 3/5 for me because the romance was the majority of the book.

"The more I search, the more lost I get in darkness. Crying isn’t even the solution. What am I crying for? Who am I crying for? As far as I’m concerned, what’s lost never existed in the first place. "

This is a story of 3 girls, Clementine, Jane, and
SpoilerTeeny,
all just trying to find their way back together but sadly it's only one girl who can take the journey for all three. That girl is Jane and she is lost, confused, and she feels like Jello. Taking each day a Truth or Dare at a time.

She meets a lot of nice people and some who are not so trusting in the beginning. Rightfully so, I wouldn't trust a random stranger who convinced my twin brother to let her stay with us basically no questions asked and on a Dare no less?! Sheesh! She is lucky to have found herself with such nice people. She could have ran away with someone who only wanted to hurt her. Did she even consider that?!

I understand that she really just wanted to get away and think, so she didn't hurt her Dad because seeing his face and not really knowing him would feel terrible but running away from the man after she almost died?! That's just selfish. However, like I said she is trying to find her way back to Clementine. The daughter he came to see, not Jane, the random girl she made up.

It's a story of love, family, and finally accepting that who you want to be may just be who you already are.

SpoilerKieran really surprised me in the end. I cant believe I didn't see it coming and all the clues were there. Things did wrap up nicely for him and his Bunny so that made me happy. I'm happy for Clive and Siobhan to be raising little Lizzy together. That's going to be one tough little girl.
