I enjoyed this one for the most part. There were parts I feel as though I was missing something but maybe I glossed over it. I didn’t like the magic aspect to it; just felt odd to me. I think it could have been a great read without the whole ritual thing and had just focused on the characters and their reconnection.

I LOVED this book. I was screaming at every twist and turn. It was entirely unexpected. The only thing I didn't like was the glaring plot holes. But overall I would recommend this to anyone who loves slasher movies and wish scream would come into their bedroom at night.
DNF-I think I got about 50-60% and I was just done. It had really potential but I got bored and a little frustrated with the storyline and characters.
I skipped ahead and read the ending and was very glad that I stopped reading, it was a huge let down.

Holy fucking shit balls!!!! Now when I say I’m obsessed I’m fucking OBSESSED!!! I legit read this just in 1 day because I could not put it down!! I mean I even actually downloaded Spotify when I ONLY use Apple Music just so I could listen to the playlist on repeat to get me even more amped up. That NEVER happens either because I have refused to use it no matter what the book is. Obviously I don’t need it for my regular daily use. However even though I finished this last night is it weird that I already want to read it again?!
This is literally the perfect book to kick out spooky season and the fact it’s based off Scream makes it so much better. Honestly I just turned on Scream right now because it just put me in the mood to watch all the movies now.
Everything was absolutely perfect about this book. I loved that every chapter was a new rule and I mean if you are a huge horror fan you know theses definitely apply to all horror movies. Also I will not choose between Kansas and Constantine because obviously. I get why Eisley couldn’t choose any of the times. But there’s so many little twists that even though I convinced myself every time I knew the ultimate plot twist, I really didn’t LOL. I was kept on my toes the entire time and so many little Easter eggs that I just now convinced myself I will be reading this all over again just so I can see if I find them all. Especially because I need to see if I can find out from them on which movie the next book will be based off of. I THINK I have an idea but I don’t want to put it on here in case I’m completely wrong and don’t want to feel dumb

This was a Halloween, all things spooky and gothic MFM romance. There are cults, there is horror aspects and rituals and friendships.. Brilliant. Smut was 4/5 on the spice scale and its a HEA.
The characters were well rounded. They had backstories and their personalities were complex and perfectly well suited to each other. I really enjoyed reading about these three!

I couldn’t for the life of me push further than 10% with the writing on this. It definitely needs a lot of work and the writing is just jumps around so quickly with no explanation. Didn’t feel like wasting more time on this. Why push through a book that you know you’re not gonna enjoy just to say you read the whole thing? And from reading other reviews, I’ve made the right choice.
