This book didn't pull me in till the middle part where things started to get messy. First hundred pages or so were so boring that I thought about DNFing this book. However, I held on and I'm glad I did it. It was satisfying how everything connected and came into an end.
I am not truly satisfied with the ending though it felt so abrupt and I really wanted to see Hannah and Will's confrontation. I wish all people who suffered at the hands of that horrible man could've come together and plan his m*rder rather than the planner doing it and Johnno being blamed for the death of Will. I also truly hated Charlie he is the worst right after a literal demon called Will and his buddies. The way he treats Anna and the way he and Jules act with each other I hated so much. I also hate Jules for the suffering she made Hannah and her sister go through.
Overall I liked it but the ending could've been better.

Read For:
Petty Drama
Murder Mystery
Wedding Setting
Multiple Point of Views
Slow Burn Story Telling

This book wasn’t bad but I don’t think I’d read it again.

I thought the author did a good job with setting the scene and having the suspenseful atmosphere I was expecting from a murder mystery.  However, I thought it was a bit drawn out.  All the characters being taken apart, not being as perfect as they once seemed was written well… I just didn’t care for most of the characters.  They weren’t all that likable and the drama was a bit predictable.

The narrators though, did a lovely job.  And with all the different characters they really made each character unique.

I started this book today, expecting myself to take at least two days to complete it. But once I got through the first two chapters, I was hooked!
I won't lie that the "haunting" elements of the story did have me gripping my ebook reader a little too hard, and I kept expecting someone to give jump scares!

I love the author's formatting for the chapters - even though it jumps back and forth in time - because we get to see the story unfold from each character's POV.

It's not a story where you can predict who the killer or victim are going to be, much until the latter part of the book, where you start formulating potentials.

The last few pages are what really catch you off guard.. and tbh, I loved how all the pieces of the story just tied in together!

Strongly recommend this for anyone interested in a good rollercoaster of a psychological thriller!

I personally did not enjoy this book. I’m fine with reading a book where the characters are unlovable, but when it’s every character detracts from my investment and interest, and actually reading what happens to them. I haven’t read a book where it’s from different point of use in a while so it was a bit for me to get used to and because I was a fan of most of the characters I didn’t really care when it changed from person to person. The ending was unexpected and I didn’t get it…so that’s a win?

I got this book out of a blind date with a book. Good, but it didn’t live up to the thriller vibes I expected. I wish the murder had been sooner. I had wanted it to happen early and then have a Clue-style mystery. The plot was still good and I liked the twists at the end, but it wasn’t the murder mystery I had hoped for.

The twists and discoveries throughout were very well done. Wish the ending had been expanded/fleshed out a bit more.
