I enjoyed the multiple perspectives in this book. I particularly like Hannah’s perspective and character in general. However, the book’s ending felt so incomplete!

While we do find out who really did it, it’s left us in a spot where they arrest someone who didn’t do it and has been continuously been the person who has taken on the blame for others. Ughh frustrating.

I’d recommend the read but be prepared for a disappointing ending.

Compared to other Foley books, this is maybe a bit slow building, but I still absolutely loved it. The last quater was incredible. I love how Foley managed to merge past and present in the same book, and leave a mystery of who's been killed and who did it? Especially when every person has a motive too.

This book wasn’t bad but I don’t think I’d read it again.

I thought the author did a good job with setting the scene and having the suspenseful atmosphere I was expecting from a murder mystery.  However, I thought it was a bit drawn out.  All the characters being taken apart, not being as perfect as they once seemed was written well… I just didn’t care for most of the characters.  They weren’t all that likable and the drama was a bit predictable.

The narrators though, did a lovely job.  And with all the different characters they really made each character unique.

DAMN IT WAS THE PLANNER

This book sets up dynamics between characters in a way that blows up later in the story and it is quite interesting for the book to pan out in that manner. Pay attention to those little character details because every seemingly loose end is tied in.
