Ew trigger warnings seriously needed

Not sure how I feel about the use of present tense

I’m not sure I like any of the male characters. I liked Hannah a lot and the sisters a bit.

I liked having lots of different perspectives and timings, which I don’t usually enjoy. It kept a nice rhythm and pace.

I liked the relationship between Hannah and Olivia

I like the mystery of who dies

I have so many questions and that pushed me forward throughout the book

I properly celebrated when Will died!!!

The fact that Will was also Hannah’s sister’s bf felt like it pushed me out of how realistic it was. It was too much. I don’t feel an ounce of pity for Will in spite of his father

I was kind of disappointed by the ending. After so much effort went into demonstrating that Will was the most vile horrible person who carries the guilt of so many lives ruined, being quietly and quickly stabbed didn’t feel like justice. I wish the truth had gotten out. I wish they all had their moment to confront him. I don’t like the lack of closure on the trial for Jono - I know he deserved to be sentenced for the manslaughter of the young boy, but I just have to imagine that all the truth came out in the trial and true justice was served after Will’s death. I wish that had played out in the book though.

Was supposed to give it a 2 but let’s settle for 1, here are some points:
- REVIEWERS NEED TO STOP SAYING “this can be compared to” or “this has a strong resemblance to” an Agatha Christie book, THIS IS SOOOO FAR FROM THE BRILLIANCE OF AGATHA CHRISTIE
- the mystery bit was so bad, this book is just a story of people who clearly need to be in therapy, it could be a good book for character study, but not as a murder mystery
- overhyyyyyypppppped
- and going back to was supposed to give it a 2, it’s because I was excited how things will unfold, but it was just soooo bad when it got to that point, it’s very predictable!!!!!!!!!!
- bad book overall, i might still read/listen the other works of the author tho cause i love the cover
- i guess i can give this book a 1-1.5 rating because the narration was good if you’ll listen to the audiobook and the cover design is nice

Not even a quarter of the way through and literally everyoneeeee is obsessed with this teenage girl in an Extremely Weird way. These women are in their 30s they should not resent this 19y/o girl so much for being skinnier or prettier than them!!!!! The men who are in their 30s or older are ALL saying this girl is hot!!!!! Some of them are explicitly trying to have sex with her this is sooooo disgusting and bad. The mystery was vaguely intriguing but I really do not want to hear the rest of this after all that.

This was not as thrilling as I would like a thriller to be, but solidly entertaining. It gave me serious Big Little Lies vibes, so if that is your cup of tea, this book may be up your alley.

There were too many POVs for me in this, though I did think the author did a good job at making them unique so it was easy to follow. Overall, I wanted a little more action, but thought this was fun.

Fast paced murder mystery set at a rich person’s wedding. I didn’t guess the killer until the very end, lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing. Couldn’t put this book down.

This book I told from various perspectives of the wedding party - this is something I really liked as it added to the suspense of the book overall. The wedding party all have secrets that are slowly revealed as their perspective is told over the wedding weekend. There were some big twists revealed in this book, which I didn't anticipate. The typical Irish weather described in the book also helped to create atmosphere for me.
