Lots of fun! I love a female main character who isn't totally helpless but recognises she isn't infallible or immortal. The main male character was fun too and I'm looking forward to the next book.

For the most part, I loved this book! It seems like a great start to what will be an amazing series! There were a few little tidbits that could have been done better, like Danica not asking Samuel about her mom or finding out more about the mark, but overall it was very well done. I can’t wait to read the next one!

Solid. I enjoyed it! The pacing is good, the plot is interesting, and the magic development is really cool. The end felt a tad bit anticlimactic though.
