LOVED the book and am SO IN LOVE with this series! I'm thoroughly impressed how unique the author has made each story so far. I was a bit apprehensive that, after book one, they would all just be some duplicate of that, but they aren't.

**Review of Laura Thalassa's "War"**
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Laura Thalassa’s "War," the second book in her Four Horsemen series, is a thrilling follow-up that mixes romance, fantasy, and end-of-the-world drama. I didn’t enjoy it quite as much as the first book, "Pestilence," but it’s still a great read.
In "War," we meet the second horseman, War, who brings chaos and destruction wherever he goes. The main character, Miriam, gets caught up in all this madness, trying to deal with her intense and complicated relationship with War. The characters are well-developed, and the chemistry between Miriam and War is electric, making for some really gripping scenes.
One of my favorite quotes from the book is:
*"You can’t control the chaos, but you can learn to ride it."*
Like, chefs kiss!
Miriam's rules for survival in the book also made me chuckle a bit and I find myself using them in real life.
1. **Stay Invisible:** Avoid drawing attention to yourself.
2. **Stay Armed:** Always have a weapon on hand.
3. **Stay Vigilant:** Never let your guard down.
4. **Stay Flexible:** Be ready to adapt to any situation.
Even though "War" didn’t quite hit the same high notes as "Pestilence" for me, it’s still a solid, enjoyable read that fans of the series will love.
